Alumina-based sintered mullite is a high‑end refractory aggregate whose primary crystalline phase is acicular mullite, produced by high‑temperature solid‑state sintering at 1700–1780°C using natural high‑alumina bauxite, kaolin, kyanite, and other aluminosilicate minerals as raw materials.

Homogenized mullite

Natural sintered mullite is produced from high‑quality natural bauxite, which undergoes manual sorting and is then sintered at temperatures exceeding 1,750°C. Mullite exhibits excellent thermal shock resistance, low high‑temperature creep, and superior chemical corrosion resistance, ensuring consistent quality. It is an ideal raw material for manufacturing a wide range of shaped and unshaped refractory products, high‑grade sanitary ware bodies, precision castings, and other applications.
